Elizabeth G. Grimes - Managing Partner

Elizabeth G. Grimes is Managing Partner at Grimes Yeoman, PLLC. Known locally as "Libby", Ms. Grimes represents plaintiffs in cases involving serious bodily injuries and traumatic brain injuries. Mrs. Grimes received her B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in December of 1985, graduating a semester early, and received her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1989.

Mrs. Grimes is admitted to practice before the North Carolina State Bar and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina. Her professional affiliations include the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Advocates for Justice, North Carolina Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and Mecklenburg County Bar Association, Super Lawyers, among others.

Mrs. Grimes is rated AV Preeminent (5.0 of 5.0), the highest professional rating achievable from Martindale-Hubbell, a national organization that rates attorneys and law firms. Richard Yeoman - Partner


Richard Yeoman is a litigation attorney and Partner at Grimes Yeoman, PLLC.  Rick, as he is known by his friends and family, works on cases involving personal injury, including serious bodily injuries and traumatic brain injuries. He earned his B.A. in 1994 from Brigham Young University in International Relations and his Juris Doctorate from the Brigham Young University School of Law in 1997.

Mr. Yeoman is licensed to practice law in North Carolina having been admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1997.

Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Yeoman was a civil litigation attorney at The Law Office of Richard D. Yeoman, PLLC. Additionally, he practiced in the areas of commercial litigation and personal injury.


Michael Kay Mabe - Litigation Attorney


Michael Kay Mabe works on cases involving personal injury, including serious bodily injuries and traumatic brain injuries. She earned her B.A. from the University of Virginia and her Juris Doctorate from the Emory University School of Law in 2004. While at Emory, she was a Managing Editor of the Bankruptcy Developments Journal.

Ms. Mabe is licensed to practice law in North Carolina having been admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2008. She was also admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2004.

Prior to joining Grimes Yeoman, PLLC., Ms. Mabe was a litigation attorney at DeMayo Law Offices, and spent three years working on the priority litigation team responsible for handling catastrophic and complex injury claims. Additionally, she practiced in the areas of real estate and community association law and as a defense attorney.
