Biography

Jennifer R. Reed is an associate attorney at Grimes Yeoman, PLLC. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Messiah College in 2012 and her law degree from Penn State University, The Dickinson School of Law in 2015. Ms. Reed was a member of the Public Interest Law Fund, a volunteer supervisor for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, and a senior editor of the Yearbook on Arbitration and Mediation. Her article, South Africa Revolutionizing Foreign Investment Protections was published in the 2014 edition of the Yearbook. Additionally, she interned for MidPenn Legal Services and The Honorable Richard A. Lewis, President Judge of the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas. She received a CALI Award in 2014 for achieving the highest grade in her Disability Law class. 
Following graduation, Ms. Reed was a law clerk for the Honorable Edward E. Guido, President Judge of the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas. As a law clerk, she drafted judicial opinions in civil and criminal matters and assisted with drafting local rules of court.  In 2016, she coordinated programming for Cumberland County’s Law Day and volunteered with Will for Heroes to provide essential legal documents for first responders.  Following her clerkship, Ms. Reed worked as a staff attorney for MidPenn Legal Services. She began by representing tenants in housing matters and coordinating legal clinics at homeless shelters and then transitioned to a grant-funded position representing victims of domestic and sexual violence in family and civil matters. After relocating from Pennsylvania to North Carolina, Ms. Reed took the North Carolina bar exam to obtain North Carolina licensure and worked as a document review attorney. 
Ms. Reed is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
